You might have to plug a keyboard in to get to the settings menu.

1. Yes, when fully charged the lights should stop flashing.
2. Hard to say. It depends on the charger you are using, how many amps it is rated for, and if the controller is totally dead. I plugged my two controllers into two different rated chargers and one topped off in a couple of hours and the other one took about four hours.

How do you back out of Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, etc with a keyboard?
