Black-coloured Console decals (overlays / stickers) for your Replay

I'm sticking with Black-coloured consoles for the moment as that's the base colour for the Replay, so the decal designs would work better.
I'm curious to know what the most popular consoles would be. And what most people would like their Replay's to look like!

For some reason I feel that the Mega Drive with the CD add on being the hard drive base would look best since the Replay could be the Mega Drive, and the HDD dock the CD. The only other one I could think of is if you did a N64 with the N64DD add on.

I was thinking the same about the N64 + Disk Drive Base

Was also thinking about the GameCube + Game Boy Player (although there's not much detail to the GB Player, other than the top of the GB cart)

That's the only other one I could think of off the top of my head, but I am not sure how well the Replay would run GameCube games.

Cheers - some good ideas there. There's a lot of great potential to 'pimp' the Replay, outside of the console designs

I seen the 2600 is up to three votes. For a console like that the HDD base could be like a console TV, and the Replay the 2600.

Hmm, I like your thinking there... but realistically, I don't see how I can make that work. Bearing in mind the HD Base is pretty slim, condensing a tube TV encased in a wooden unit down to a strip would look a bit odd.
Unless I'm just not thinking creatively enough?

I also realise that I forgot to add the Atari Jaguar to the list!
I guess technically that was a 'grey' console, but it could still work against the black of the Replay. Maybe.

Maybe my brain went a little too far back. perhaps a more recent black tube? I have never designed anything like this before so I am just throwing ideas out there. Maybe I am just over thinking it a little and just having the console covered on top of the base will look good.
