Reinstalling Win10, new partition cannot be installed to

Post by JFCG4mer » Sun Mar 31, 2019 7:32 pm

Hey guys,

I’ve been playing around with Lakka and a few other Linux flavors but I decided I wanted to start clean with Win10 and try LaunchBox and a few others instead.

I used the Win10 Media Creation Tool and blew away the partitions to start fresh. Only problem that I see how is that seemingly one of those partitions was the Master Boot Record or something because even when the 30GB Drive is formatted Win10 won’t let me install to C: any longer.

(See attached)

Any advice on where I go from here?

Thanks!

Are you planning at least to keet the Dreamcade Front End?

If you want a clean win 10 install. You would need to find what build you want to download. Typically about 4GB to download the image. Depending on how much space is left on storage, you may need to delete some stuff, or have additional drive connected in order to reinstall Windows 10. You want win 10 x64 (build ????) The 32 GB edition is free. If you have any questions please let me or WheatPasta know. We are here to help
