Intel Updates

Post by Mireille2015 » Tue Apr 02, 2019 10:57 pm

I have noticed that the latest Intel graphic drivers are causing some issues with choppy graphics, improper sync with sound to video. Causing emulation issues (example Redream), etc.

What has worked for me, was reinstalling WIN 10 build 1709 Red Stone 3 (Sept 2017). And just updating only windows. I have no issues with the Dreamcade Front End or other emulators. WheatPasta pointed out, there was an Intel updated dated late March. I tried it, and caused me headaches. Luckily I was able to re-image my drive back to original state.

It seems that Intel is now releasing updates called DCH drivers. Originally they were legacy drivers. What's causing this, I have no idea. But for those who experiencing the same, hope this helps!!

That's...like a foreign language to me, almost! :)

But I'm definitely experiencing these issues - and it is a shame too, as my Replay was purring away before them.

Now I'm getting stutters and freezes quite regularly... :(

The intel updates you are talking about are they part of Windows 10 forced updates like the intel corporation display 11/18/2018 12:00:00 update I got a couple of weeks ago or are they the intel updates that you can only do manually?
